West Belmar Man Indicted On Stolen Property Charges

Grand Jury handed up indictment on Tuesday

A West Belmar man has been indicted by a grand jury for dealing in stolen property, according to court documents.

Brian Frank, 24, of I Street, was indicted on four counts of dealing in stolen property and a single count of hindering his own apprehension, according to the indictment.

Frank faces two counts each of receiving stolen property and fencing, as well as the single count of hindering. Also named in the same indictment is Jacyln Profita, 21, of Neptune, who is charged with a single count of hindering.

The indictment says that between March 13-16, Frank received and sold an air compressor, a surfboard, video games and fishing equipment that he knew was stolen.

The indictment, handed up Tuesday, says the crimes were committed in Wall or Neptune City. It is not more specific.
