County Updates Snow Removal Progress

County offices are open while some library branches are closed.

While work continues to clear the remnants of Thursday night’s storm business is returning to its usual pace in the Monmouth County offices.

As of Friday afternoon county offices are open and operating as usual while road crews work to remove blowing and drifting snow from across the roadways.

Freeholder Thomas Arnone said that while conditions are improving it is still important to be careful when moving around the county. “If you must be on the roads, please exercise caution and give the plows and sand trucks room to do their work.” He added, “County road crews are now targeting some trouble spots, so the assistance of motorists is appreciated as they work their way through the storm.”
