News In Brief: Drum Circles, Tax Help, Pop Warner Signups

Drum Circle Workshop Wednesday

The Wall Township Library, 2700 Allaire Ave., is hosting a teen drum circle for youth in grades 6 and up on Wednesday, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Richard Reiter, a nationally acclaimed jazz musician who studied African drumming in Senegal will lead the workshop. Drums and percussion instruments will be provided, but bring yours if you have some. No musical training is necessary.

Pop Warner Signups Scheduled

Registration for returning participants of Wall Pop Warner Football and Cheer is scheduled for 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the community room of town hall, 2700 Allaire Ave.

Seniors To Get Tax Help

Volunteers from AARP will be available in the Wall Township Library Meeting Room, 2700 Alliare Ave., to provide income tax preparation assistance on a first-come, first serve basis. Please bring last year’s returns with you.

Volunteers are available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
