Recycle That Holiday Trash

Boxes, wrapping paper perfect for single stream recycling

All the presents have been opened and you’re left with a mountain of hastily discarded wrapping paper and cardboard boxes.

Wall Township officials want to remind you that wrapping paper and all those boxes are perfect fodder for .

A notice on the township website encourages residents to recycle that holiday trash under the new recycling program.

Recycling will be delayed, however, for those who normally put out their plastic, boxes and cans on Monday, which is a holiday for municipal workers.  That trash will be picked up on Wednesday instead, according to the notice.

Town Hall also will be closed Monday, reopening Tuesday, Dec. 27.
