Todd Luttman Faces Uncontested Primary

No other GOP filed; Dems let deadline pass

Incumbent Committeeman Todd Luttman, currently serving as deputy mayor, will face no challenger for his party's nomination in the upcoming primary election.

Luttman, a Republican, filed by Monday's election deadline to run for the GOP nod to retain his seat on the Township Committee in the June 5 primary. There were no other Republican candidates who filed by 4 p.m. Monday.

The local Democratic organization did not forward a candidate by the deadline. According to Eric Brophy, Wall Democratic party official, the organization has "decided to wait until June 5 to place our candidate on the ballot."
