Union Boss Rumored To Be Buono's Running Mate
Milly Silva, a union executive, is rumored to be Sen. Barbara Buono's running mate selection.
State Sen. Barbara Buono, Democratic candidate for Governor in the November election, will announce her choice of running mate on Monday, her campaign said.
By then it may be old news.
Her campaign is mum on Buono’s choice, saying only the choice will be revealed at a press conference in East Rutherford.

But the Bergen Record and PolitickerNJ.com cite unnamed sources identifying Milly Silva, executive vice president of 1199 SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, as Buono’s second.
Silva recently spoke at an event in Newark calling attention to the state’s foreclosure problem. Buono was among the featured speakers.
