Your Taxes Are Late, But Don't Worry

Bills, normally sent out, are arriving late

The property tax bill you'd normally be receiving right about now is going to be late this year, township officials said.

Not to worry, you'll get one. Nice try, though.

The municipality is awaiting word of the certification of its state aid, a necessary component in determining the tax burden on residents. Taxs bills are expected to be mailed out at the end of the month, officials said.

There will be a grace period for getting the taxes paid, however. The new due date will be printed on the bill when it comes in the mail, officials said.
