Raising money for schools is an ongoing chore, but a national chain retailer is giving schools an opportunity to raise thousands with a few mouse clicks.
Target stores is running at Give With Target promotion through Sept. 8 that gives eligible schools the chance to raise $10,000 by clicking a button.
Eligible schools will receive a $25 Target GiftCard for every 25 online votes it receives during the promotion period; up to a maximum of $10,000.
Here's how to play: Choose a K-12 school from Target's Facebook Page and click a button to vote for it weekly through Sept. 8 or when $2.5 million in Target GiftCards have been awarded, whichever occurs first.
Wall schools have not fared well so far in the contest.
Wall Primary School has zero votes. Wall High School also has zero; Wall Intermediate School has one; Old Mill and West Belmar schools each have two votes while Allenwood School has the most votes with 13, according to the site.
