This unpaid position is for a term of four years. Applicants cannot be elected public officials.

“This is a terrific opportunity for a resident to take a dynamic role at New Jersey’s best community college,” said Freeholder Deputy Director John P. Curley in a prepared release. “Brookdale needs leaders who will help steer the future course of this quality, affordable higher education institution.”

Prior applicants are encouraged to update their resumes even if they are still on file and to express their continued interest.

Interested individuals should submit a resume to the Brookdale Trustee Search Committee c/o Marion Masnick, Clerk of the Board, Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Hall of Records, 1 East Main St., Freehold, New Jersey 07728.

The deadline to submit resumes is Friday, July 20 in the Clerk of the Board’s office in Freehold.

Did Curley think that this message was going out to the Monmouth GOP email list? That's usually how these positions are filled. It's only a matter of time before Lillian Burry gets one of her "friends" (i.e. financial supporters) in that position.
