Wall District to donate proceeds to Sandy victims

The Wall Township School District will be hosting two charity basketball games to support Wall Township students and staff who were victims of Hurricane Sandy, district officials said.

The first game on Feb. 25 will feature a fifth grade team from each elementary school competing against their fifth grade teachers and principal. During the game the students in attendance will be able to win prizes donated by various groups and clubs of the school district, officials said. 

The second game on Feb. 27 will feature an eighth grade team, senior team, High School staff team, Intermediate school staff team and a police team, officials said.

Both games will begin at 7 p.m. in the High School North Gym. Donations are $5. All proceeds collected will be donated to victims, officials said.
