The Wall Township High School Varsity football team on Friday lost to Neptune despite a last-minute comeback effort that came up short.
The Crimson Knights fell to the Scarlet Fliers 17-14, bringing their record this season to 3-5 overall.
The Fliers were up 17-7 when the Knights came back and made it 17-14 on a 53-yard screen pass with just seconds left in the game, but Wall ran out of time before they could launch another attack.
