'Music For Kyla' Fundraiser Slated For Thursday At Allenwood School

Fundraiser will benefit Kyla Harpell, a fourth-grader fighting leukemia, donations of bottled water, snacks and baked goods still needed

From the Wall Township school district:

All Allenwood 4th and 5th grade students are invited for an afternoon of music, Formdancing, and snacks from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 22.

The event is coordinated by the Allenwood Student Council, PTG, and teachers. All proceeds will be donated to Wall Walk for Kure, in honor of Kyla Harpell, a 4th grade Allenwood student, who has been fighting Leukemia since December 2013.

Admission is $5.

If your child will be attending “Music For Kyla”, they will stay after school. Please note: Children must be picked up and signed out, in the Gym, at 6:00pm.

Pizza will be sold at $2 per slice. Additional snacks and beverages will also be sold for a nominal fee.

Permission slips went home in all 4th and 5th grade backpacks. Please RSVP – ASAP.  Ticket money and  pizza money can be sent in with your permission slip, on or before, Tuesday, May 20, 2014.
