New Schools Super To Be Named Tuesday

Board of Education to name new schools head at its regular meeting

After months of looking, discussing and interviewing, the Board of Education is ready to name the next superintendent of Wall schools on Tuesday.

The board's agenda calls for the approval of a new schools superintendent as the first order of business at Tuesday's meeting, scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. at the 2801 Allaire Road.

The board's current superintendent, James Habel. His contract expires at the end of June. The new superintendent would begin duties July 1, according to the agenda.

The board in January , or roughly $66,000 through June. The maximum pay allowed for an interim superintendent in a district Wall’s size is $644 a day.
