UPDATE: School Board Set To Meet
First public meeting since start of interim schools chief search
The Board of Education is scheduled to meet Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the Intermediate School, 2801 Allaire Ave.
It is the first public meeting since the school board began interviewing candiates to fill in for Superintendent James Habel, who is out on medical leave and is not expected to return before his contract expires in June.
The meeting agenda does not call for a vote on a interim superintendent. The topic is up for disucssion under the board president's report to the full board, according to the agenda.
