Wall Board of Education Fills One Vacancy

Eric Brophy has filled the vacancy created by John Tavis.

Wall Township Board of Education officials filled one vacancy on the board last night, according to the board's business administrator Brian Smyth.

 The other two seats - left vacant by Donald Herbert and Joseph Tonzola  - who also resigned in the last two months will be filled on June 19th and a date to be announced after that.

One other applicant was considered for Tavis' position - Betsy Cross.

The deadline for submissions for the vacancy left by Tonzola is June 13, and a special meeting for interviews is scheduled June 19.

A deadline has not yet been established for applications for the position left vacant by Herbert, since as of today, Herbert's resignation has not yet been accepted.

Interested parties are asked to submit a letter of interest with resume to Smyth at the board offices.
