Wall Has Talent Competition Upcoming

Open to all Wall High School students who will compete for a chance to perform at Great Adventure this summer

Wall High School’s second annual “Wall Has Talent’’ showcase is scheduled to take place February 5.

The talent show begins at 6:30 in the High School’s Auditorium, 1630 18th Ave.

The event will showcase talented Wall High School students in a variety of disciplines and will follow a television talent show format. This year’s show will pit 18 acts – soloists, bands and dancers vying for a grand prize: a summertime performing gig at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson.

Acts will be judged by a panel of four locals with experience in the performing arts, organizers said.

Judges will be looking for overall performance, audience response, stage presence, and originality. For vocal performances, judges will be also looking for tone and sound while dance groups will also be judged on technique and difficulty.

This event is run by the Wall High School Boosters and all proceeds go back to the organization to be used towards scholarships and programs.

Tickets are $10 and are available at the door the night of the show.
