Wall High Cheerleaders Honored For Outstanding Season

Wall High School’s award-winning cheerleaders were honored Tuesday at the Board of Education’s regular meeting for continuing the winning ways of its cheer program.

, the fourth state title won by the school’s cheer program. The squad took first place honors in the Small Varsity division and also took the champion honors of all Group 3 schools.

The team also traveled to Florida to compete in the national championship, winning the Small Varsity National Championship, the program’s second national title, Schools Superintendent James Habel said.

“When we talk about a tradition of excellence in cheering circles, we certainly have done that,’’ Habel said.

Squad members were given certificates marking their achievement.
