The Wall High School Auditorium will be renamed "The Eva Applegate Theatre" at 6 p.m. Jan. 30.
Eva Applegate is a longtime board of education member who recently served as president and decided not to run again after finishing this board term.
The public is invited to attend the reception in the Wall High School cafeteria where the community "will celebrate a woman who has dedicated nearly 28 years to the education of our children. What a opportunity to share with our children the example of volunteerism set by Eva!" says the invitation.
Following the reception, residents are invited to the Wall High School Winter Concert at 7:30pm to enjoy one of Eva's favorite things, music!
