Football Club Gets Boost From Local Business

All In The Family Dental Care donates last of helmets needed by Wall Youth Football

The Wall Youth Football organization has received their final 25 helmets in a program to equip the club with next-generation, safer helmets.

All In The Family Dental Care, a Wall Township business, has donated the last helmets in the football organization's "Adopt a Helmet'' program, according to a release from the organization.

The Schutt XP Hybrid helmets use technology similar to those used by NFL players. The helmets feature Thermoplastic Urethane [TPU] Cushioning, which feature better impact absorption, better heat management and better hygienics. TPU Cushioning will not break down even after thousands of impacts and is resistant to mold, mildew, fungus and bacteria while providing a barrier against MRSA and staph concerns, the release says.

In addition to the $2,000 donation for the helmets over the past two seasons, All in the Family Dental Care is providing custom-fit athletic mouth guards to Wall Football at the cost of the materials, according to the release.

The custom mouth guards enable the athlete to breathe easier, speak, and stop worrying about an ill-fitting mouth guard staying on their teeth. These guards will protect against concussion and mouth injury more effectively, and allow the athlete to speak more articulately, according to the release.

“Dr. Jack and Dr. Joe Campi have helped make youth football safer in Wall township,” said Adam Puharic, equipment manager of Wall Youth Football, in the release. “By their leadership, we have accomplished a three-year goal in two years.  We are grateful for their generosity and concern for our children.”
