Runners' Summer Series Continues Thursday

Runner's can take their mark again on Thursday behind town hall as the Jersey Shore Running Club hosts another in a series of weekday running events.

The club will continue with its second of the summer Thursday runs. Registration begins at 6 p.m. A kids' 1/2-mile race begins at 6:30 p.m. and a Kids' mile begins at 6:45 p.m. A 5k will start at 7 p.m.

The cost is $5 for each race, or sign up for the entire series, which ends Aug. 9, for $20. For those 18 and under, the cost is $3 for each race or $10 for the series. The kids' races are $2 each race or $5 for the series.

The club meets at the soccer fields behind town hall. Prizes are awarded to top finishers in each age group.
