A Wall Township man was one of two people who sunk a hole-in-one at an amateur golf tournament in South Carolina.
John Lohnes hit a hole-in-one an the 115-yard 17th hole of the Farmstead Golf Links during the World Amateur Handicap Championship, held in Myrtle Beach Aug. 26-30, according to a South Carolina news site.
Lohnes was one of two players who achieved the rare feat on the same hole, according to The Sun News.
Clyde Rowe, 61, of Potomac, Md., also sunk a hole-in-one minutes before on the same hole.
