Wall Stadium Holds Free Practice Session Saturday

Fans can watch practice session for free at Route 34 race track

Race fans can watch a practice session for free on Saturday as Wall Stadium hosts its first practice session, beginning at 11 a.m., according to a release from the stadium.

Fans are welcome into the grandstands of the stadium, Route 34 at Hurley Pond Road, for free for the four-hour session.

“We have been working hard for the past several months in preparation for this,” Cliff Krause, the stadium’s new operator, said in a release.
“It should be a great chance for new fans to come to the track and see what local racing is all about, while fans can also see all the new cars for the new season.”

An “On Track Party,” where fans will be welcome onto the track to check out all of the race cars up close, will be a part of the season opening festivities, according to the release.

Weekly Saturday evening stock car racing events will then run until the end of September, with the exception of June 18 when the annual “Formula D Drift Championship” will be presented, the release says.
