How's Your New Years Weight Loss Plan Going?

Weight loss is one of the main New Year's Resolutions and this blog will help you with your goals to lose weight and/or prevent gaining any extra pounds this year.

As I spoke at the Wall Township Chamber of Commerce today about weight loss tips, I reminded myself that I have not be blogging on Wall Patch lately and decided that tonight was the night to get back on track.

So, this blog is about losing weight.  Before you can try to lose weight, you must first understand why it can be quite challenging.   Let me stress the fact that being overweight may be the number one killer in the near future, so this is a very important topic.  There are several factors that play a role in stubborn weightloss.

First on the list are toxins.  Our body stores toxins in our fat.  If you are breathing Wall Township air and drinking the water and eating the food and showering in the water... then you have toxins (no offense Wall Township...LOL).  In order to lose weight, you must do some kind of full body cleanse or detox.

Second, our bodies are too acidic.  Otto Warburg was awarded the Nobel prize for his discovery that low ph levels are involved with cancer.  It is unhealthy to live an acidic lifestyle.  The best way to raise the ph levels in your body is to eat and drink alkaline food and drinks.

Third, hormone levels decrease drastically between the ages of 30 to 50.  Suzanne Somers wrote a book called BreakThrough that talks about increasing the body's hormone levels with natural supplementation to help stop the aging process.  This process also helps with weight loss.  I personally had a much easier time maintaining a healthy weight when I was 21 years old (5 years ago...LOL).

Lastly, exercise is very important and that is why you should support your local gyms like Wings (Steve and the crew are great), WOW, and Jazzercise (Kellyann and crew are great as well).

I hope you found this helpful.  I love helping people become more healthy.  One of the best ways to measure health is called the waist to height ratio.  Your waist should be less than half of your height in inches.  Let me know if you need more information on this subject.
