The Roadside Diner
732-919-1199
The Roadside Diner has been in existence since the 1940s and features a chrome exterior and old fashioned accompaniments such as a rotary phone and AM radio for a true retro experience. The current owner has been there for 11 years, and the diner has been featured in a Bruce Springsteen video and on the cover of a Bon Jovi album. The diner features 22 different types of omeletes, including a special healthy option and has eight different types of hamburgers. Other menu highlights include the blueberry pancakes and the signature tuna melt. There is a long counter and booths to accommodate diners. There also is a green dinosaur sculpture made out of car parts on the side of the diner.
