New data collected on municipalities statewide puts Wall's tax bill slightly higher than average
Wall Township residents pay slightly less for municipal services, more for schools and about average for county services than the 566 towns in the state, according to a new analysis. Wall residents paid an average of $8,397.76 in 2012 in local taxes, just a tick more than the average for municipalities in the state, according to a new Star Ledger analysis. In 2012, the newspaper's analysis of the 566 towns in the state showed the average tax bill was 1.7 percent more last year, as compared with 2011.
