Chase Bank was reportedly robbed around 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21

Chase Bank in Colts Neck was robbed at gunpoint on Thursday, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office. Police said a male at 5'11" with brown hair and glasses walked into the bank around 5 p.m. and pointed a gun at the bank teller, demanding money. After receiving the cash, the suspect fled in a dark two-door Infiniti with New York license plates. Police said the car headed south on Route 34, then north on Route 18. Point Borough Man Facing More Charges After Alleged Bank Robbery

Daniel Skokos also faces drug charges filed by Wall police

A Point Borough man originally charged with robbing a bank in Neptune City is now facing additional charges including drug possession and resisting arrest stemming from his arrest in Wall Township, according to Monmouth County authorities. Daniel Skokos, 28, has been charged by the Wall police department with hindering prosecution, possession of a hypodermic needle and use of drug paraphernalia, according to the Monmouth County Jail website. The police story on Skokos starts with him allegedly robbing cash from Central Jersey Bank, 300 West Sylvania Avenue, Neptune City by handing a note with a threat to a bank teller on April 12, said Thomas Huth, an assistant Monmouth County prosecutor.
