Howell police assisted with investigation.
A Glendola Road resident arrived home to find a burglary in progress, and police used a foot chase with K9 officers to find two suspects who had fled, Wall Police said. Chief Robert L. Brice said police responded to the home around 1:40 p.m. Sunday to a report of a burglary in progress between Belmar and Monmouth boulevards. "The burglary was interrupted by the resident who was arriving home. Two suspects were described by area residents, a female suspect that fled on foot out of the back of the house and a male suspect that fled in a silver pick up truck," said Brice in a police statement. Police say woman broke the rear door to a Wall Township residence
A Neptune woman was arrested and charged with breaking into a Wall Township home Monday, according to arrest warrants. Cynthia Gonzalez, 40, of Myrtle Ave., was arrested Monday after she used a cinder block to break open the rear door in an attempt to enter a Wall Township home, the warrants say. The location of the home was not released. Gonzalez was also charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the arrest warrant. Gonzalez was taken to Monmouth County jail, Freehold Township, in lieu of $28,500 bail. She was still listed as an inmate Thursday, according to jail records.

Riverside Terrace home broken into on Monday afternoon
Police are asking for the public’s help in catching the burglar or burglars who broke into a home on the south side of town Monday. A Riverside Terrace home was broken into between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. and entered through a rear window. The owners were not at home at the time, Lt. Walter Pomphrey said. Wall Police are asking residents to call if they saw anything suspicious in the area of Riverside Terrace Monday afternoon, Pomphrey said. Residents are also reminded to be cautious of people knocking on their doors or walking around their properties. Brick man charged with burglary and theft
A Brick man on Monday was arrested and charged with a summertime burglary in town, police said. Minas Andamasaris, 20, of Sawmill Road was arrested and charged with one count each of burglary and theft for his connection with a May break-in at a home on Belmar Boulevard, Sgt. Erik Ertle said. Andamasaris was linked to the theft of jewelry and about $1,000 in cash that was taken from the home through evidence recovered at the scene and analyzed by the State Police Laboratory, Ertle said. Andamasaris was taken to Monmouth County jail, Freehold Township, in lieu of $40,000 bail, where jail records show he remained Tuesday.

Man took landscaping equipment after being fired, police say
A disgruntled worker fired by a Wall Township businessman returned the next day to steal $5,000 and tried to pawn it at a local shop, police said. Todd Kane, 31, of Belmar, was arrested by Wall Township Police Friday and charged with two counts of burglary and a single count of theft after he stole landscaping equipment off the property of a West 18th Avenue resident. The resident, who was not identified by police, owns a business and had fired Kane the previous day, Sgt. Erik Ertle said. Kane, who was fired on Thursday from the business owned by the Wall resident, burglarized a truck and a trailer parked on the resident’s property and took several chain saws and blowers from a locked trailer, Ertle said. Police arrest Montclair man for September burglary
A Montclair man was charged with stealing $100,000 in jewelry and other items from a Bailey’s Corner Road home, according to an arrest warrant. Shelby L. Williams, 45, was arrested Dec. 31 and charged with third degree burglary and second degree theft in connection with the burglary that happened on Sept. 9, the warrant says. Williams was charged with breaking into the home and taking a safe that held three antique handguns, assorted jewelry, cash and a 100-ounce silver bar. Another lock box that contained jewelry and documents also was taken. The total haul from the home was $100,000, according to the warrant. Numerous arrests this week for a variety of crimes
A Beachwood woman was arrested and charged Tuesday with prostitution at a local motel, police said. Jessica Miserendino, 35, was arrested and charged with promoting and engaging in prostitution at a Route 35 motel, Sgt. Erik Ertle said. The hotel was not named. Detective Sean O’Halloran was the arresting officer, Ertle said. Also on Tuesday, Richard Clark, 47, of Bridgeport, Conn., was arrested and charged with second degree aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possess of a knife, Ertle said. Clark’s arrest stems from a Nov. 8 incident at a Route 35 motel where police say Clark slashed a 26-year-old Connecticut resident with a knife, Ertle said. Woman was the get-away driver, warrant says
A Freehold woman on Monday was indicted for her role as the get-away driver in a summertime burglary of a Wall home. Tracey E. Buchanan, 30, will face third-degree conspiracy charges for helping a another woman pull off the burglary of a Woodfield Avenue home on June 18, according to the warrant.

Charged with burglary and theft of four DVD/VCR machines
An Asbury Park man has been arrested and charged with burglary and theft after a Halloween break-in at a local school, authorities said. Justin Bingham, 20, was charged with one count each of burglary and theft for his connection to an Oct. 31 break-in at the Rugby School, 1604 Woodfield Rd. Bingham broken in and stole four DVD/VCR players from the alternative school, according to an arrest warrant. Bingham also was charged with a break-in in Eatontown, according to the warrant. He was taken to Monmouth County jail, Freehold Township, in lieu of $14,500 bail, according to jail records.

Bill's Work Clothes burglarized on Tuesday
Two Wall men were arrested and charged following a break-in at a Route 34 retailer, police said. Vincent Petrucelli, 20, of Shadowbrook Drive and Christopher Hayes, 19, of Sea Girt Ave., were arrested and charged in connection with the Tuesday night burglary of Bill’s Work Clothes, 2369 Route 34, Lt. Walter Pomphrey said. Police arrived at the clothing retailer around 9:45 p.m. after an alarm at the store had been tripped, alerting authorities. Officers spotted a black pickup truck in the lot and a man fleeing into the woods behind the store. More police arrived, along with a K-9 unit.
