Neptune Man Charged With Drunken Driving

Arrest follows traffic stop Monday

A Neptune man was arrested and charged with drunken driving following a traffic stop on Route 18 Monday, police said. Paul Walker, 42, was charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop around 11:00 p.m., Sgt. Frank Lancellotti said. Patrolman Jason Kelly was the arresting officer, Lancellotti said.

Wall Police To Crack Down On Drunk Driving

Local authorities to participate in statewide program

Wall Township Police will be cracking down on drunk drivers as part of the summer 2011 statewide “Over the Limit, Under Arrest” campaign, township police said Tuesday.  Beginning August 19 and running through September 5, local and state police will conduct sobriety checkpoints, looking for motorists who may be driving while intoxicated, according to a release. A concentrated national effort, the campaign aims to raise awareness about the dangers of drunk driving through high-visibility enforcement and public education tools, including posters, banners and mobile video display signs, the release said. Little Silver Man Charged With Drunken Driving

Arrest follows traffic stop

A Little Silver man was charged with drunken driving early Sunday morning, police said. Adhem Bedad, 25, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on  Route 18, according to a release from Sgt. Frank Lancellotti. Bedad was charged and released with a court date. Patrolman James Cadigan was the arresting officer, Lancellotti said.
