Township To Kick Off Holiday Season Friday
Annual tree lighting, with fireworks, scheduled for 6 p.m.
The annual tree lighting kicking off the holiday season in Wall Township is scheduled for Friday evening. The event, which is expected to include a visit from Santa Claus among other activities, is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at town hall, 2700 Allaire Rd. The annual lighting ceremony will feature caroling by the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore, refreshments and a performance by the Dance Theatre Project and a fireworks display. The Girl Scouts also will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Manasquan Food Pantry.
