Board of Adjustment could take vote on Route 34 application
The Board of Adjustment could vote Wednesday on whether to approve an application to build a Wawa convenience store and gas station on Route 34 south and Hurley Pond Road. CJS Investments, of Wall, wants to combine portions of two adjoining parcels at the intersection to build a 4,000-square-foot Wawa convenience store with 16-pump gas station with a separate, 2,968-panel solar electricity farm behind it. The company finished up their pitch on the Wawa proposal at the April 4 meeting and is scheduled to begin testimony on the solar farm. It is possible the board could vote on the plans Wednesday. The Board of Adjustment on Wednesday is scheduled to hear an application to build a Wawa convenience store with gas station and a separate solar farm on property at Route 34 and Hurleys Pond Road. The Board of Adjustment on Wednesday declined to vote on a minor subdivision that would create space for a Wawa convenience store and gas station and a nearly 3,000 panel solar farm on Hurley Pond Road and Route 34. good points... lets see what the officials have to say. all i know is that these things happen our traffic and circulation is going to get worse then it already is, the roads are meant for town development but it looks like those companies want to turn it into a city setting   more ›
