Wall Cadet football team holding parade to celebrate its first national championship
A parade honoring the achievement of young Wall Township football players who capped an undefeated season with a National Championship is scheduled for Saturday afternoon. Wall’s American Youth Football program fielded a Cadet division team of 9- and 10-year olds who were unbeaten all season. The team won their division championship, The Jersey Shore Championship before going on to win the national title on Dec. 7 in Orlando, Fla., by beating the Tucson Falcons of Arizona by a score of 12-7. The national championship is the first national title for Wall Youth Football in its 52 years of existence.
