First ever gala to benefit Wall High School graduation party
The first ever Jersey Shore Meatball Gala – a food-tasting fundraiser for the Wall High School Project Graduation -- is scheduled for April 11. Participating restaurants will enter their meatballs in numerous categories, such as: Best Traditional Meatball (in tomato sauce), Most Oddball or Creative Meatball, Best Non-Meatball (no pork or beef), Best Swimming Meatball (non-tomato sauce), People’s Choice Award (voted by attendees). All meatballs will be vying for the prized category of Best in Show: The Meanest Meatball on the Jersey Shore. Restaurant will donate 15 percent toward annual party
Have a good meal and help support Wall High School’s Project Graduation. Through the end of April The Mill restaurant on Ocean Road will contribute 15 percent of the amount you spend toward the alcohol and drug-free for graduating Wall High School seniors. Dinner fundraiser to benefit Wall High's Project Graduation
The Wall Community Alliance, in conjuction with Harpoon Willy's restaurant, will be hosting a dinner fundraiser next week to benefit Project Graduation, the all-night drug and alcohol-free party for graduating high school seniors. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday -- Feb. 2, 3 and 4 -- from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., the restaurant overlooking the Route 70 bridge at 2655 River Road will donate 15 percent of the cost of your dinner to the Alliance's efforts to put on this year's Project Graduation dance at the high school. All night graduation party costs $10,000
The Wall Alliance for the Prevention of Drug and Alcohol Abuse is looking for help with Project Graduation, the all-night drug and alcohol free graduation party held each year for high school seniors. The alliance says the party costs around $10,000, the bulk of which is raised by volunteers. The group is looking for financial donations to defray the cost of the party, and for donations of numerous items. Items may be dropped off at the Wall Youth Center -- M Street -- Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (closed from 12-1 pm) and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Items needed include: For more information, call the Wall Alliance: (732) 820-4792.

Project Graduation, all-night drug- and alcohol-free party, enters its 21st year
The Wall Alliance for the Prevention of Drug and Alcohol Abuse is seeking donations for the 21st Annual Wall High School Project Graduation. The free event is an all-night drug- and alcohol-free party for graduating high school seniors on what is historically a very dangerous night for teens. The party features food, activities, entertainment, music, dancing, and more.
