Surveillance Photos Released In ShopRite Purse Snatchings

Wall Police hoping to identify and talk to the women in the photos

Wall Police on Monday released surveillance photos of women they believe may be connected to purse snatchings that took place at the Route 34 ShopRite last week. The women in the photos may be connected to three active theft investigations from the shopping center at Lakewood Road that occurred on June 30, July 1, and July 2. In each case, the purses of older women were taken from unattended shopping carts, Pomphrey said. Anyone who can identify the women in the photos is asked to call Wall Township Police detectives at (732) 449-4800 or Detective Sean O'Halloran at (732) 449-4500 x1146. All calls will be kept confidential, Pomphrey said.
