Local Officers Holding Fundraiser For Police Unity Tour
Bike ride to Washington D.C. set for March 9 and Team Monmouth County needs help getting ready
A fundraiser for local participants in the annual Police Unity Tour – a bike ride from New Jersey to Washington D.C. – is being held next month. Team Monmouth County – comprised of officers from Lake Como, Belmar, Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights, Avon, Bradley Beach, Neptune City, Neptune Township, Department of Corrections, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, the FBI, Fair Haven, Colts Neck and Wall Township – is scheduled to hold a fundraiser on March 9 at Bar Anticipation, 703 16th Ave. in Lake Como. The event, running from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., will feature a buffet, raffles and a gift auction and live music by the Joe Baracata Band. Domestic drafts available for $2 and bottles for $2.50.
