Applications are now being accepted for Wall Fair vendors. This year's Wall Fair will take place June 27 -30. Spaces are available for craft vendors and food vendors, but they're sure to go fast. For more information, please see the Wall Recreation website: wallrec.com

Event, sponsored by Wall Recreation and InfoAge, geared toward smaller children
The Marconi Hotel, on the site of Camp Evans, will be filled with ghostly ghoulies on Friday as Wall Recreation and InfoAge present a Haunted Hotel and Candy Hunt. The event, geared toward children in pre-school to grade 6, will run from 7 to 9 p.m. at the hotel, located on the corner of Marconi Road and Monmouth Boulevard. Hotel tours begin at 7 p.m. and are followed immediately by the candy hunt. The cost is $10 for each child. Checks should be made payable to Wall Recreation, 2700 Allaire Road, Wall, NJ 07719. Summer program offered through Wall Recreation began Monday
It all seemed to be quite normal at first. A line queued to register kids for the first day of Kids Play Camp, a 1/2-day summer program offered through the Wall Township Recreation Department, inside West Belmar School Monday morning. Inside the gym, dozens of kids were divided up into grade-specific groups, ranging from kindergarten to eighth, their voices mixing and bouncing off the walls in a cacophonic din of equal parts anticipation and excitement. Co-directors Hillary Addonizio and Michael Manson were shepherding children and their parents, keeping an order to the first-day chaos. Then, boom! The Recreation Department this week is holding a food drive to benefit the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean counties. Kids Play Camp, held at the West Belmar School, is the site of the drive, with a collection box placed outside the school's gym office. The food drive will continue through Friday. The most needed, non-perishable, items are:
