Retirement Community Collects Turkeys for Monmouth Organizations

Seabrook Turkey Trot benefits Bradley Beach food pantry, Interfaith Neighbors

Residents of the Seabrook retirement community in Tinton Falls recently helped collect turkeys for the underprivileged. The 14th annual Turkey Trot collected donations for the Bradley Beach Food Pantry and the Monmouth-based Interfaith Neighbors organization. Participants had the opportunity to choose from one of three walking courses: The Turkey Course, the shorter Chicken Course, or the slightly shorter Cornish Hen Course. Once the walks were completed the turkeys were loaded and shipped out to the organizations. “This annual event helps two worthwhile organizations fulfill a need that assists those in the county who are struggling,” Seabrook Executive Director Art Sparks said. “It is during the holidays that people usually tend to think…
