Vin Gopal was elected Chairman of the Monmouth County Democrats in June of 2012, winning over 70% of the 800 Democratic County Committee members voting in the election. He is the youngest head of a New Jersey county political party, at age 27. He is a small business owner, having served previously three years on the Board of Director for the largest buisness organization in Northern Monmouth County. He also currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Monmouth and Middlesex Counties. He has agressively fought to bring the Democratic Party in Monmouth County to lead on support for small business owners and protecting taxpayers.
