ReplyI agree with Susan Sorensen: It was a lovely story, and an entertaining fair! What's wrong with Karen and her nasty comment(s)! A little nostalgia is fun in this day and age; look around you at the world in its present state! A trip to the fair either in-person or via a story lightens things up a little. Maybe Karen should "lighten up," as well!

The DPW and other crews are doing a great job with the cleanup in Shrewsbury, where I live. Saw yet another crane on Broad St. on Sunday.
We finally got power 3 a.m. Monday morning ... after 15 days, and were the "remaining nine" left in Shrewsbury in the area of Shadowbrook Road and Queen Anne Drive ... the "last men (and women and children!) standing" in the entire town!
