Replyto most everyone on the board's credit they felt the right thing to do with the appointments was to be more inclusive in the process - again they reversed a previous decision and now allow every board member to have their say in the process - never done before with board attorney who was just re-appointed year after year. the name calling has no place in civilized debate. good to see this board is open to dialogue and discussion - and the superintendent will be answering to a board elected by the voters to represent them and not the other way around. the public should have been more engaged in the past during the appointment process with professionals . - you now have a chance to speak up and the board listened. now let's hold administrators - supervisiors etc accountable for test scores and getting the system out of the bottom tier we have wallowed in the past 10 years.

Replythank you board members - compromise and dialogue - public input - first time in 20 years this has happened. no need for name calling . realizing what may have been perception as to something " fishy " the board did the right thing and will now interview professionals prior to appointing them - something they hadn't done in the past - case closed - move forward - good luck to all board members and administrators - you are held to a higher standard then previous members and i am confident all have learned from past mistakes and our school system will benefit.

ritacco's daughter was a former employee of gartland while this was going on - why do you think the fbi didn't include any of the locals in the raid? she also had home - appliances etc installed on our dime - more to come !!!!

Replyyeah - we are in good hands now - doering and roselli both ritacco hires still in control !- you can sleep well toms river knowing this ! - judge pisano sent out a message loud and clear - there are others to be implicated - better beware and come clean - ritacco must serve a minimum of 9 years before released. - don't think for a minute we have seen the end of this - stay tuned !
