A 27-year-old Howell man has been issued summonses for reckless driving and other vehicle offenses after police said his 2001 Jeep collided into traffic on the ramp to Highway 35 North.

As a result of the collision, which occurred around noon today, a 17-year-old girl was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries, and the left lane of Highway 138 eastbound was closed for an hour as police investigated the five-car collision, police said.

Members of Wall Police, Wall EMS and Wall First Aid and Rescue responded.
